Hello, I'm Coach Hayley!

Let me introduce you

to the art

of Contortion.

Contortion Introduction

Contortion is NOT gymnastics, it is NOT dance, it is its own independent art form that has a rich multi-cultural history that demands respect.

I have dedicated my life to the practise and performance of handbalancing contortion, and I have been very fortunate to have learned from the best in the industry.

As a certified “Flexibile Body Art ” Mongolian Contortionist Academy Instructor, I teach professional Mongolian Contortionist training techniques passed down from teacher to student. I began my Mongolian Contortionist training journey at 15 years old under contortion Master Otgo Waller.

Fast forward 15 years and I have maintained my career as a contortionist thanks to the amazing training I received.

Now that it is my turn to pass down these teachings, I am dedicated to give my students the best learning experience that will last them a lifetime.

Individual Approach

I require all new students to begin training with me in a private one hour session.

In this introductory lesson they will learn important safety guidelines for Contortion Training and be evaluated for their flexibility and strength.

After the Contortion Introduction is complete, students will be guided to the most appropriate class and training schedule.

Why…

Regardless of a new students skill or previous acrobatic background, it is extremely difficult for new students to enter my group class - I end up having to spend the entire class focused on them, teaching them individually how to safely practise each technique.

This slows down my class and I am not able to spend the time I really need to focus on guiding a new student.

What to expect in the Contortion Introduction

In this private lesson, you will be evaluated on your flexibility and strength. You will learn the foundational exercises practiced in class step by step and be guided towards the best training plan to reach your goals.

Be prepared for class:

 Bring your own yoga mat

Wear appropriate clothing : Tight fitting leggings and top that wont fall off during class

Have your hair tied up in a tight bun that will not fall out.
