KEYSTONE ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT
Lisa Tizzoni ’77
Lessons learned at Keystone really do last a lifetime.
Lisa uses precious gems of wisdom from legendary Professor Anita Appleton as co-owner of Mercantile22, a modern general store in Tunkhannock. Celebrating its fourth anniversary as part of the burgeoning downtown business district, the store has something for everyone.
“Not only did [Anita] impart to me a great, general all-purpose view of accounting practices, but many life lessons, as well,” said Lisa, who received a business certificate from Keystone that nourished her entrepreneurial spirit and her passion to focus on a new career.

The Professor Anita S. Appleton Scholarship is available to junior accounting students at Keystone. Contact Mary Stremski in the Office of Institutional Advancement for more information at mary.stremski@keystone.edu.
