It's been 84 years … 🥶🤣

They say you're never supposed to start a newsletter by explaining away your absence (because, like, who even notices, right?), but I'm going to go ahead and break that rule.

Why? Because most of you haven't heard from me in three years. Some of you have signed up for this newsletter in the meantime and this one is the first one you're seeing!

So what happened? Long story short, we moved to Kansas City from Los Angeles in early 2020. The pandemic hit. I got very busy with freelance design work and kept postponing these newsletters. We moved to Tampa. It's somehow October 2023 already.

I don't even know how old I am now, but my kids are 12 and 5, which means I'm probably not fooling anyone when I say I never turned 30.
