Kicking off 2020 with bone-freezing temperature was not exactly how I anticipated the new year. But, when life gives you lemons you make lemonade, right? Or in my case, you put a science experiment to the test.🧪

 

That's exactly what I did when the temperature hit -42ºF (-41.1ºC). What EXACTLY did I do? I turned boiling water to snow in seconds! And I captured it on Instagram for you. Watch it here.

 

 

They say at temperatures that cold, it takes about 10 minutes to get frostbite!🥶 In full disclosure, it warmed up to a "toasty" wind chill of -35ºF (-37.2ºC) on January 2nd. Oh, Alaska! I feel cold writing that down. But I can't complain, it's warmer right now. Precisely, -18ºF (-27.7ºC).
