It's been real.
I've dedicated myself to producing these very intricate bodies of work every two weeks for you all – my premium community who trust me to dissect and deliver a beautifully packaged message about the cosmic forecast and how you can use it for your mind, body, soul self-care. In over two years, it has never taken me so long to craft one of these newsletters. I'm introducing this email this way, not to excuse myself because I am only a human instrument of divine gifts with real limitations and circumstances, but as a testament of how incredibly metamorphic the energy currently is around us.
Yesterday's Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Cancer brought along more than just untamed emotions and weird interactions. It's here to welcome us into a portal that could literally change our very existence.
In my last email for the New Moon Eclipse in Capricorn on Christmas Day, I explained the importance of that moon's energy coming along to usher us back home to ourselves where we could take a factual look at our lives, our needs, and what was happening around us as a catalyst for change. If we applied that knowledge and set our intentions properly, this Full Moon Eclipse is presenting us with opportunities to release all that has already served it's purpose (or never did).
If you didn't set any intentions for whatever reason and it feels as if life is still whirling around you, it's because that's what eclipses do. They bring abrupt endings and new beginnings. Pair that with a Full Moon and everything that needs to be removed, recalibrated, and realigned is being actively illuminated in the most extra sorts of ways.
This particular Full Moon Eclipse occurred in Cancer – the deeply intuitive, super emotional, wildly loyal zodiac that's also ruled by the Moon. If you've been extra sentimental, feeling like your heart made it's way onto your sleeve, and have just been feeling like curling up in a little ball at home alone or with the best humans in your life, there's no coincidence there.
Cancer is a water sign guided by their emotions. This time might turn our attention to our home and family life, or how we feel at home within ourselves. You can either take to Cancer's dark side and self-pity your way into a personal hell, or you can use the heart-opening energy to express yourself vulnerably, be it to your journal, through a personal project, or to another person or group of people. Through it all, see yourself. Be with yourself. Make self-care a priority.
If the only reason why you've had relationships on your mind is because your family and home dynamics are being shaken up, don't take anything personally. Remember, we're all coping with the same energy, some better than others. The key right now is to approach everything and everyone with empathy and compassion. Just by watching the news or taking a look around you, you'd know that the world needs our love more than ever right now.
With that said, let's talk about the rest of the cosmos and how they're coming for everything that needs to be dealt with. This Full Moon Lunar Eclipse is opposing the Sun, Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto, which are all gathered in Capricorn. Why do we care? Because on January 12, Saturn and Pluto will create a conjunction that forces us to do the work like never before. A conjunction is just a fancy way of saying that both planets will align in Capricorn at 22 degrees for the first time in over 30 years. (FYI, 22 is also a very significant number symbolizing precision and balance as a master builder.)
Saturn, who rules Capricorn, has a cold, strict reputation, while Pluto is all about death and rebirth. To make a long shpeel as short and as useful as possible, they're coming to destroy and rebuild.
The Full Moon in Cancer, the lunar eclipse, all of the planets aligning in Capricorn, the zodiac of discipline, order, and control, are all divinely orchestrating an opportunity for us to make our wildest dreams of healing and security come true. We're being offered all of the darkness that's trying to cement itself in our lives as I write this so that we can see it, acknowledge the part it's playing in our growth, and do the work necessary so that you can change the course of your own life. Let me reiterate: this is a defining moment, for us, for society, for the entire world. We have to see things for what they are and make moves to expedite our healing or continue being tormented by our own lack of awareness.
Easier typed in a beautiful newsletter than done? Absolutely. But this is not the time to take Cancer energy to keep cozy in stagnancy and voicelessness. This is the time to speak up. To act. To shift. To move. To remove. To dismantle. To mother ourselves and the world like only Cancer would so that we can finally put our foot forward. It doesn't have be our best foot, not yet, but a foot is enough. Feed yourself the time, energy and nourishment you need to remember your power during this portion of your journey, lean in on the people, resources, and tools that feel best right now, and do whatever you need to do to be one with your growth.
A personal note: I hope this email makes you feel the same way I felt birthing it. Sending you so much love on this moment in your journey. Send me a note if you must.
