Do you suffer from any of

  2.  I always feel cold and have joint pain or muscle aches.
  3. I’m depressed or anxious.

  5. I struggle with brain fog and memory issues and experience constant fatigue.
  6. I have thinning hair, dry skin, and brittle nails.
  7. I have small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO).
  8. I get heartburn often.
  9. I have long, painful, or irregular periods—or PMS.
  10. I have high cholesterol.

PART 2:

  1. I have had unexplained weight loss.
  2. I’m always hot and sweaty.
  3. I have anxiety.
  4. My heart often races.
  5. My hands shake.
  6. I struggle with insomnia.
  7. I’m losing my hair.
  8. I have loose stools or diarrhea.
  9. I’m noticing changes in my vision, my eyes protrude, or my eyes are itchy.
  10. I have menstrual irregularities.

If you said yes to three or more items above in Part 1, you have a very high chance of hypothyroidism. If you said yes to three or more items in Part 2, you have a high chance of hyperthyroidism. Please note that often times your symptoms can be a mix of the two so it can be hard to diagnose which is why a full thyroid panel is highly recommended. Often doctors will just test for TSH which is not enough.
