BABY, YOU SHOULD GO AND LOVE YOURSELF | VOL.4 | 2020

Hi {{ subscriber.firstName | default('love') }}

Happy Sunday :)

February is HERE and we have been surrounded by red and pink for awhile now! Whether you are a Valentine's Day gal or not, I hope that you can be empowered to give YOURSELF a little extra love this month.

We (particularly as women) nourish, protect and serve others so readily.  It's in our blood.  I strongly believe that when we love ourselves to the fullest - in the most humble way - that we are able to show up for our circle of humans in our most authentic and aligned way, full of light.

I've been referencing this in my classes all week.  What is one thing about YOU that you can love on a little extra this month?  Something that makes you YOU. What is one thing that makes you unique that you might not give enough credit to? What is the dialogue that your inner voice is delivering to you?  These things totally have an effect on our own self care, how we feel about ourselves, and how we show up for our people and the greater world.

The thing is ...how we show up for ourselves - in self love, self care, who and what we surround ourselves with - it MATTERS, big time.  By recognizing, empowering and SEEING ourselves in all chapters of our story, respecting all of the ebbs and flows, by forgiving ourselves, by LOVING the incredible beauty inside and out that we are...we have the energy, capacity and generosity to have the same impact on others.  It helps to make our planet earth, our communal home, a better place.

This month, I have dedicated all of the Sunday practices in the MoonRise Online Self Care Space to OPENING OUR HEARTS and tapping into more self love.  We are going to flow, surrender and practice to our heart chakra.  I'm so excited for this series of practices, and I hope that it serves as your reminder to love yourself a little more, each time you step into your yoga space.

FEBRUARY FULL (SNOW) MOON YOGA FLOW

2.6.20 | 6:00-7:00pm

MIRUS GALLERY DENVER

THIS WEEK!

The moon is our closest celestial neighbor and powerfully influences every living thing on our planet. Within 28 days, the moon passes through 8 phases, each with its own unique characteristics. The energy of the arguably most influential phase - the full moon - lends for a magical, beautiful and important practice.

Join us for a monthly ALL LEVELS Full Moon Inspired Yoga Flow. Expect to tune into the power, purpose and energy of the full moon this week.

February's Full Moon is the Snow Moon. February is a transitional month. Winter is clawing to keep its position while spring is chomping to get back on the scene. The result leads to a tug-o-war which manifest in bizarre weather, unpredictable mood swings, radical shifts.

This month’s full moon is also a time to cast off that which is unwanted or unneeded. Imagine the snow and ice are your unwanted things…now imagine those things melting away beneath this powerful full moon.

FEBRUARY NEW MOON CIRCLE

2.23.20 | 7:45-9:15pm

YOGA POD WESTMINSTER

The moon represents deep feminine wisdom. Engaging regularly with the moon cycles is a powerful way to become intimately connected with the phases of birth, death, and rebirth.

In our lives, we too are constantly moving through these cycles, seasons, and changes. Connecting to and working with the moon as she cycles, creates a life of deeper meaning and more authentic connection as we are able to live a life with more awareness and intention.

Join us in a women’s circle as we practice grounding techniques, breath work and development of our intuition. Some light, gentle yoga will be infused. We will share space with each other to receive, connect, and create.

What to Bring:
Yoga mat
Water Bottle
Journal or paper to write on

DREAMY VINYIN + DREAM CATCHER DIY

2.27.20 | 6:00-8:00pm

MIRUS GALLERY

The reaction when I teased this event  at the January Full Moon Flow was PRICELESS.  I've thought back to it at least a handful of times since, you were SO EXCITED and it made me smile big!  I can't wait for this one either.

Our yoga mat can be one of the most powerful places we put our dreams into action.

Let's come together for an all levels yoga flow. We'll begin with powerful Vinyasa to ignite our dreams before surrendering into a melty yin practice.

After we flow, we'll join for a social hour and make dream catchers.

Dream catchers were traditionally created and used by Native American tribes to protect sleeping people, usually children, from bad dreams and nightmares. Native Americans believe that the night air is filled with dreams, both good and bad. When hung above the bed in a place where the morning sunlight can hit it, the dream catcher attracts and catches all sorts of dreams and thoughts into its webs. Good dreams pass through and gently slide down the feathers to comfort the sleeper below. Bad dreams, however, are caught up in its protective net and destroyed, burned up in the light of day. The shape of the dreamcatcher is a circle because it represents the circle of life and how forces like the sun and moon travel each day and night across the sky. The dream catcher web catches the bad dreams during the night and dispose of them when the day comes. As for the good dreams, the feathers act as a fluffy, pillow-like ladder that allows them to gently descend upon the sleeping person undisturbed.

NOURISH : GROUND, CREATE, EXPAND

SPRING 2020 | date + time tba

DENVER

What you celebrate expands.

What area of your life would you love to EXPAND more?

NOURISH : a mini self care staycation (just an afternoon) quarterly series.

We come together for a unique community self care sess to nourish our hearts, minds and bodies.

Spring 2020 : GROUND, CREATE, EXPAND :

First, we gather as a community to get to know one another and for a bullet journal exercise to tap into the areas in our lives in which we would love to expand a bit.

Next, we unroll our mats for GROUNDING VinYin yoga (light on the vinyasa, heavy on the yin) inspired by our personal desires and intentions.

Post yoga, we'll each CREATE a succulent terrarium over tea and light snacks. (Think heavy on the FUN & community, super cool DIY we get to bring home as a  continual reminder of what we are nourishing.)

Last, with journals in hand we'll EXPAND our minds & hearts as we are led in a community inspiration and discussion by a very special guest, one of my favorite inspirational speakers.

ROSE + ROMAN CHAMOMILE

I love this blend so much.  The sweet, feminine tones of rose are balanced so beautifully by the more rich and earthy notes in roman chamomile.

ROSE is a soothing and stress-relieving aroma that serves to harmonize.  It's extremely feminine and for me it's an uplifting reset.

ROMAN CHAMOMILE also has SO MANY benefits!  It is said to help with symptoms of anxiety and depression, help relieve PMS symptoms, assist in allergy relief, the list goes on and on.   It has a soothing scent and effect.

I love this combo for our heart-driven month ahead.

I'm making some essential oil sprays and blends.

Reply if you'd like to reserve one and I can bring it at the next pop up you're attending, or coordinate shipping it to you.
