Good afternoon Fur Family,

This email is to provide an update on how the Woofin’ It team is currently working to monitor the status of COVID-19 (Coronavirus).

I want you to know we’re taking serious measures to ensure the health of both our team and our clients.

As always, we thoroughly wash our hands at the end of our home visits, and will continue to do so. As an added layer of protection, we will use anti-bacterial wipes for door knobs, commonly touched items, and more.

Please know that I’m staying up-to-date with all recommended CDC information and will continue to operate Woofin’ It in accordance with their recommended guidelines.

The CDC is continuing to recommend performing good hygiene skills, which includes washing hands for 20 seconds on a regular basis, coughing or sneezing into your elbow, staying home if you are ill, and disinfection of commonly touched surfaces.

As a pet parent, I understand you may be concerned as to whether or not your pet can become infected. While dogs may be at risk to contract certain types of coronaviruses, (ex. the canine respiratory coronavirus), COVID-19 is NOT believed to be a threat to pets.

The World Health Organization stated there have been no reported cases of coronavirus in domestic animals.

Resources to help you stay up to date:

There are plenty of great resources so you can stay in the loop as more news comes out regarding COVID-19, including:
World Health Organization
Maryland Department of Health
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention

Please know that in the event that you are now working from home, we are still happy to come for our scheduled visits.  The pups still need to get their walks, and we know it's hard to get away from your desk sometimes!  As always, your continued support is appreciated and your health is important to us.

If you have any other concerns, or you're looking for more tips and ideas, don't hesitate to reach out to me!

In good health,

Joanna Price
