Finding Inspiration In Quarantine

How are you feeling today? We are over 2 months into this “new normal” (or insert other overused phrase) right now. If you’re anything like me, the thoughts, emotions, and feelings can tend to be all over the place.

One thing I dove head first into during quarantine...I launched a podcast called Lift U Up: Inspiring Health Stories and we’re 6 episodes in! Say, what?!

This project has turned out to be so much more than I ever expected. I’m a former journalist, a storyteller. But through this short experience, I’ve learned so much about people and their health goals or challenges, their resilience, their undeniable strength, and I am more than “inspired”...I am motivated to be better. I want to share this with you.

Below, is our latest podcast featuring a registered dietitian who once was malnourished, a health tip from a doctor who’s lived over 20 years eating plant-based, and a kick-ass video for my client who is helping us all look good and feel good after quarantine.

Have a health story you want to share with me or have a question? Send me an email at

Let’s travel this “uncertain” journey together.

What We're Working On

Right before stay at home orders were issued for South Florida, my team and I shot a long-form company video for Plantation-based medspa, The Vera Medical Institute, founded by former ER physician Dr. Carolina Vera.

Just like all small businesses, we had to “pivot” our video strategy, at least for the time being. We took our already-existing video and created a short, 30-second video that communicated their plans and next steps with their customers.

I LOVE getting our clients like The Vera Medical Institute ready for reopening! After all, our face and bodies need a little extra love after all of these weeks inside, right? As Dr. Vera would say, “When you look good, you feel good.”

Be sure to check them out!
