14 Day "You Got This" Challenge

DAY 7

Plan Your Content

Day 7: Plan Your Content

So, we had an entire social strategy going until Mr. Corona decided he was going to take over. I can't be using all our lovely group photos anytime soon. #socialdistancing  Just doesn't fit the times or relatable to anyone currently....So this is a good time to plan out your social game and other content with "quarantine" in mind.

Today, sit down and plan out 2 weeks worth of social content through your favorite social app.

Do you have a launch coming up? Are you wanted to engage your audience? Do you want them to know a little more about you? Do you have tips to share to get them through this crazy time? You have valuable content worth sharing.  No one is like you, and your followers want to hear from you. The most important part is just that you are showing up!

After all they are following YOU, right?  Doesn't matter if you have 80 followers or 80,000.  They followed you for a reason.  Show up for them!

TIPS for Planning your content

and showing up 👇

Instagram and Facebook:

  • Use a scheduling app (Plann, Later, Hootsuite,etc...) to plan out your social media posts for the next two weeks.
  • Every few days, do a post about yourself.  Show your face.  Show a behind the scenes image of you working.
  • Don't be afraid to GET REAL.  The times aren't "pretty" right now.  Be your relatable self.
  • Share business tips and tricks.
  • Share home tips and tricks.  (One thing keeping my husband busy right now is posting an Insta-story everyday about what he is cooking.  We call it Jake's Cooking Show!)
  • Go live.  Do you know how many business owners I see going live now?!  It is amazing to see people get aquatinted with being in front of the camera.

Blogging / Vlogging:

  • Share experiences of running a business during this season of life.
  • Give tips and tricks for working at home (with kiddos).
  • Give an inside scoop of things you are working on.
  • Showcase past favorite projects you worked on.  Don't be afraid to blog about older things as long as they match the same style of work you are doing now.

Have fun creating!  Can't wait for Day 8! 📱
