I love this picture, for me, it is the epitome of calm. Honestly, how are you all holding up? For me, it has been a roller coaster. Up until yesterday, I was spending way too much time looking at the news and reading articles and op-eds on everything Covid-19! I was making myself crazy, and I was finding it made me sad and angry, so much anxiety. It wasn't a good place. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Then yesterday my sister said something to me and I am so grateful. She said, control what you can control ... it was just what I needed to hear. I took twitter off all of my devices and decided to spend any scrolling time on Instagram and Pinterest. It made such a difference. I was up until almost 3am because right away I felt inspired again. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I came up with creative projects around the house that I am excited to do and realized that I just need to be grateful that I am safe and with my family and we will be ok. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I think we are all feeling so many feelings and we just have to roll with it. I loved listening to this 4 Things with Amy Brown podcast this week on Surviving COVID-19: Awareness. Self Care. Family + Friends. Productivity.
On a happier note, check out what was on the blog this week and don't miss my interview with my dear friend, Lindsey Mead.
