I hope this newsletter is finding you all safe and sound as we conclude our 3rd week of serious social-distancing here in the Garden State. I have to say that every day that I look at the news and see the statistics of this pandemic rising in my state, I am filled with a mixture of sadness and gratitude for all of us who are in this together. Thanks to those who are out there doing all they can to combat this disease. You are all heroes and I am keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.
The stores in my area have been slowly restocking and I hope it is only a small amount of time till things get back to normal. The closed shops and restaurants are hard to see, but I am confident we can get through this. We just have to work together. I have only one piece of advice, well, more of a plea really...
Be kind. In times like these, kindness and understanding, compassion and sometimes just silence is helpful.
On the writing front, Polar Outbreak is coming along fine and I hope to have something for my editor by the end of next week.
