Seven Things

A WEEK'S WORTH OF INSPIRATION, EATING, LISTENING, WATCHING, READING, WORKING, AND MAKING

Hey there, friend!

ONE MONTH IN SELF-ISOLATION (((AIR HORN NOISE)))

We are starting to settle into new rhythms.  It's still hard, and filled with as many lows as it is highs. I feel good that we're doing the right thing, though.

I spent most of this week feeling alternately guilty and grateful for things I previously took for granted:  our laundry machines, our dishwasher, the privacy of the backyard, getting delivery groceries, and someone to share the days with. I am NEVER gonna take any of this for granted again.

I've decided to give myself some grace with the guilt, and to do what I can to help others as I'm able.

This weekend, I hope to get started on some embroidery, and enjoy the spring weather out in the backyard.  And feeding a new sourdough starter...

I hope that wherever you are, you're able to find your own grace with your situation, and that these things below give you a bit of joy in a dark time.

PIN OF THE WEEK

HELLO DREAM BACKYARD.

No grass to mow, AND an in-ground hot tub!?  Yes, please, and thank you.

Now how do I do this for free and with no ability to go to the home improvement store?  Any ideas?  (This design is by Falling Waters Landscape and is dreamy as can be.)
