Seven Things

A WEEK'S WORTH OF INSPIRATION, EATING, LISTENING, WATCHING, READING, WORKING, AND MAKING

hey there, friend!

I feel like our house turned a corner this week - acceptance of the situation is upon us.  Maybe it's spring, maybe it's the first of the family Birthdays coming up, maybe it's Easter, IDK.  But overall, mentally, we're starting to feel better with this situation.

Just a reminder, though, to check on your extroverts.  They are probably not okay with this yet, and your voice can be a balm.

This weekend, we're prepping our normal Easter dinner on Saturday - all to be enjoyed quietly with just the two of us this year. Starting with homemade Pierogies, Blintzes & Latkes, we're keeping it 'simple' with only 2 meats.  (There's a reason the fam traditionally calls Easter dinner 'Porkapalooza'). I'm still planning on getting fancy with the table, because as my favorite local party store keeps saying: "CELEBRATING HAS NOT BEEN CANCELLED!

I hope that wherever you are, you're able to find your own grace with your situation, and that these things below give you a bit of joy in a challenging time.

PIN OF THE WEEK

Feeling this in my bones lately.  Although I'm not sure I agree with the title of "Cottagecore" (eyeroll) I do love the laid back, yet still interesting, vibe it's giving. Read the full article with the style breakdown on Domino. Bathroom design by Graham Kostic and Fran Taglia.  (Their place is so Midwest Modern Cozy.)
