Seven Things

A WEEK'S WORTH OF INSPIRATION, EATING, LISTENING, WATCHING, READING, WORKING, AND MAKING

hey there, friend!

Well, I turned 42 on Wednesday.  Birthdays don't stop for Pandemics, turns out. When this all started to go down in March, I stress-ordered 2 dozen of my favorite roses to be delivered a few days before my birthday and I'm so glad I did. It was such a mood lifter to unpack and arrange them all, and then have them all over the house. 10/10 - Highly Recommend - would stress-order again. In any case, just give yourself the grace to do what feels good to you.

This weekend, I'm jumping into some DIY projects in the Master Bedroom that have been piling up. Little paint here, a little re-upholstery there, just enough to make a visible difference without gutting the place.

I hope that wherever you are, your feeling ready to tackle whatever project is in front of you. BECAUSE, YOU GOT THIS!

PIN OF THE WEEK

Yes, times are weird.  But planning doesn't have to stop, only to adapt.  And I'm looking forward to next year's round of weddings & events, because I think they'll be even sweeter because of the wait.  I love the joy in the smiles (and those fireworks bouquets) in this image from a joyful wedding in Hawaii planned by Maui's Angels, photographed by Wendy Laurel and featured on Grey Likes Weddings.  We'll be celebrating together IRL before you know it.
