Cosmic confirmation, spiritual direction.
It's moments like this, when I'm seated in my home, working through a moment of desperation, when suddenly I come across tangible confirmation of my intuitive inklings...these are the moments that I live for.
I'm talking about what this New Moon in Taurus stands for in this season of our lives, and how it directly correlates to what I said during our Virtual Soul Circle a few Saturdays ago. (If you haven't watched the replay, you should.) Now, this is direct confirmation of my divine guidance, but what does it mean for you specifically? Let's break down this cosmic energy and how we can flow with it as self-care for our mind, body, and spirit.
Let us join the Sun and Moon in welcoming Taurus season. Taurus is the astrological earth sign most connected to nature and ruled by Venus, ruler of all things love, beauty, connection, and pleasure. Before we dive into Venus and what she has in store for us this spring though, let's talk ab11111out Uranus and Saturn who are very active in conjunction with this New Moon.
Uranus is the rebellious planet of change and transformation (emphasis of rebellion), and Saturn is the patient planet of stability and structure. Both energies would seem to be working at odds, influencing all of the energy in our lives conflict our collective desire to heal and excel, but that's not the case at all.
We can definitely expect the unexpected with Uranus tearing through expired versions of our core, our mindsets, and mental programming, while Saturn reminds us of the importance of returning to ourselves for optimal alignment and stability. Basically, Uranus is tired of the shit we keep putting ourselves through because we're comfortable. If you're experiencing shifts, possibly painful shifts of cosmic proportions, that's Uranus giving us the opportunity to come to know what truly serves our expansion more intimately and getting rid of the rest for good. Saturn's energy is working in tandem to remind us that all of these adjustments serve the purpose of aligning us with an experience that is better suited for our individual purpose on earth.
We're all here to do things, experience certain breakthroughs, love and lose certain people, and create unchangeable ripples in the waters of life. As a collective, we've been taking all of it for granted. As the pandemic is starting to smooth out, the cosmos just don't want us to come out of this unchanged. It was the resistance to evolution that got us here in the first place.
Now, back to Venus. She'll be in retrograde from May 13 – June 25. I know that the word "retrograde" sends chills down most people's spines (thanks, millennial internet), but the call to action is slowing down and evaluating the condition and quality of our relationships and the input and output regarding them.
This New Moon period, and really for the next couple of weeks, calm your spirit with lovely Taurian, comfy home activities, and calibrate your psyche to flowing with the aforementioned energy. As a reminder, manifestation does not start and end – we are always manifesting on the frequency to which we vibrate. So as you embrace the cleansing of Uranus, alignment of Saturn, and reevaluation of Venus, ask yourself:
What do you want to manifest? Fear, loss, resistance, pain? Or faith, creativity, hope, and love?
