SUNDAY SELF CARE JOURNAL

RIDING ON A LITTLE SUNSHINE | VOL.16 | 2020

Hi {{ subscriber.firstName | default('love') }}

I hope that you've seen a glimpse of sunshine this week, in whatever corner of our earth that you call home.

In Colorado, it's been shifting from feet and feet of the fluffy white stuff to rays of sunshine over the past couple of weeks and this past week brought sunny blue skies and temperatures tip toeing up towards 70 (calling for 80s this week!).  That little glimpse of sunshine has provided me with the little glimpse of hope that I needed to ride through the week.

We quietly slipped into spring back in mid-March, we've been in the season for over a month now but it's been a bit of a time warp since.  The spring equinox not only represents spring, but a struggle between light and dark and shift between the harshness of winter and the awakening of spring.  It's more often a turbulent time than a smooth one.  This year, the turbulence immersed everything as we know it.

But the glimpse of sunshine that came this week was different.  It seemed stronger and full of promise.  With the winter season more securely behind, this light represents warmth, the promise of summer, outside time, healthy doses of Vitamin D....a change that will be so welcomed this year.

With sunshine on my mind, I did a thing and wrote a list of 8 ways to make the sunny skies a part of your self care this week.  Check it out below!

The moon represents deep feminine wisdom. Engaging regularly with the moon cycles is a powerful way to become intimately connected with the phases of birth, death, and rebirth.

In our lives, we too are constantly moving through these cycles, seasons, and changes. Connecting to and working with the moon as she cycles, creates a life of deeper meaning and more authentic connection as we are able to live a life with more awareness and intention.

Join us in a women’s circle as we practice grounding techniques, breath work and development of our intuition. We will share virtual space with each other to receive, connect, and create.

Come just for the New Moon Women's Circle, or stay and practice New Moon Yin Yoga led by Jenny for the next hour (note both donation ticket types)!

Thank you for reading.

I hope that this journal is a happy weekly love note in your inbox.

xo, jenny
