The KJV Lion Bible will have the words of Jesus in blue. WOW! This is definitely a first. But why have we changed this traditional feature found in most Bibles?
Here's why:
- Over 300 million people are affected with color blindness, the overwhelming majority of these can't see the color red.
- Blue words won't be a distraction while reading because there is no strong change in color.
- According to color psychology, blue evokes feelings of calmness, serenity, and inspiration.
- According to Ezekiel 1:26, blue is the color of God's throne. The ten commandment tablets, where God wrote with His own finger, were also made of sapphire blue (Exodus 24:10-12.)
Ultimately, your reading experience will be different and new.
Biblical meaning of Blue: Blue is the third primary color. It spiritually signifies the healing power of God. It is the most sublime color which represents, biblically, the Word of God. Numbers 15:38-41 denotes this biblical meaning of blue (fringe of the borders a ribband of blue). God’s chosen nation Israel is also denoted as blue from the time of David. In Matt 9:21, the woman who had an issue of blood for 12 years says “I shall be whole again, if I touch the hem of His garment)- the garment hem is also Blue.
