The final stages of death and rebirth.
I'm blue in the face at this point. I've been repeating the phrase, "the world is going through a massive moment of reprogramming," for months, and even before then, I channeled a reading stating that we would all get the opportunity to evolve past the harm that we constantly inflict on the planet and ourselves. (You might remember that from the January Oracle Scopes if you're a Glow Getter or Master Manifestor, but if you're a Conscious Connect, here's a look into what I'm talking about.)
Fast forward four months since I channeled that message, and the world has been given the opportunity to realign many times over. As always, what's happening in the macrocosm, the entire planet, also occurs in the microcosm, in all of our lives. This week we experience the energy of the Super Full Moon in Scorpio, solidifying this moment of death and rebirth, and giving us one last chance to see what needs to be purged before the page turns.
Let's discuss how we can best manage the energy of this lunation to propel forward and cultivate mental, physical, and spiritual self-care.
This is the last Super Full Moon of 2020 which means this is the last time that the effects of a lunation will be magnified in size and emotion. Although its healing powers are also magnified, let's all rejoice for "normal lunations" because it feels like we've squeezed an entire year's worth of shifts into the last four months.
This lunation, in particular, is in Scorpio, the Pluto and Mars-ruled water sign. At it's best, Scorpio can dive deep into emotional waters and honestly and courageously assess the journey, ready to shed its skin like the Scorpion itself. At it's worst though, Scorpio is "mysterious," which really means covering up the depth of emotions they really feel. In terms of this Full Moon, these descriptions should make it clear what type of energy we should lean into.
Are we feeling extra sensitive? Yes. Are we sick and tired of being on this never-ending pandemic loop? Hell yes. Are we angry even? Sure. But we cannot allow the emotions that rise to the surface be all we see, especially at this stage of the game. If it's not clear to you yet, and I put this frankly, 2020 came to collectively tell us all that it's sick of our shit. It came to shake us. Not just oUt oF oUr CoMfORt zOnes as per every self-appointed success expert on the internet, but shake us back into ourselves so we can feel the changes that need to be made.
Don't hide behind the tears and harden your facade – be with the emotions that rise to the surface, but know that they are only the indicator. The real call to action is the difficult work that appears when we sit down and acknowledge it. As a collective, IT is America's lack of accountability for the way it's destroying everything in its path. For you...well...that's up for you to open your eye(s) and see.
I want to make myself clear: just because I'm saying this work is necessary does not mean that it will happen with ease. There is nothing easy about facing your shadows, dressing open wounds, and challenging your fears, but allowing yourself to is the first step in the rebirth that this time is asking of us. It's then that we'll see who we are at our core, what we truly want and need. It is then that release becomes less scary and more desirable. Scorpio is dragging us down deeper, and we're being given a glimpse of how we've been cheating ourselves of our own brilliance – what do you see amidst the murky waters?
This Full Moon is also synonymous with the Wesak Full Moon when the Buddha attained Nirvana. How crazy is that we've kind of been doing the same in quarantine? Thinking about the meaning of life in isolation? Align yourself with the inevitable transformative light that the cosmos is shining into the darkest crevices of our lives. Align yourself with Scorpio's determination, honesty, and ability to find beauty in endings. What does your personal Nirvana look, feel, and taste like? 𓁿 MS.
