The last few months have undoubtedly changed the entertainment business landscape, especially for small businesses. During these uncertain times, it's more important than ever for us to help lift each other up and offer support where it's needed the most.

That's why we're introducing a new program from the co-founders of Women in Entertainment,

Friday Office Hours!

Do you own a small business like a production company, talent agency/management, creative studio, mobile app, cinematography, or an entertainment tech solution?

Are you facing new challenges around branding, public relations, business development, brand partnerships, marketing, or social media?

That's me!

The co-founders of WIE, Renee Rossi and

Gretchen McCourt, both own companies specializing in business consulting and communications.

To help small businesses strategize during this time, they're each donating two hours of time every Friday for virtual "power meetings," lasting about 15 minutes.

Renee Rossi is the CEO and Founder of Relativity Ventures, a full service, non-traditional communications agency, comprised of a small and nimble team of highly creative individuals who work with entrepreneurial, industry-disrupting brands at the intersection of tech innovation and entertainment.

Renee specializes in multiple areas of integrated communications, including brand development and positioning, media relations, corporate partnership building, B2B marketing, event production & management, digital & social media strategy, and executive thought leadership.

As a communications professional, she directs individuals on how to effectively communicate priorities to key internal and external stakeholders in alignment with key business objectives.

Prior to founding Relativity Ventures, Renee held roles handling strategy, executive positioning, and day-to-day management at Allison+Partners and Weber Shandwick.

Gretchen McCourt is the Principle and Founder of BLBK Inc., a consulting firm where she develops acquisition and distribution strategies for content across entertainment verticals. She also specializes in building creative brand partnerships and content activations.
Prior to founding BLBK, Gretchen was the Chief Content Officer and EVP of Cinema Programming of the Pacific Theaters Entertainment Corporation. In her role she oversaw the film, marketing, and communications of ArcLight Cinemas and Pacific Theaters.

During her tenure at ArcLight, Gretchen oversaw annual revenues over $200M and budgets ranging from small marketing projects to multi-million dollar developments. She also developed key initiatives including a first-of-its-kind partnership with Slamdance to showcase new filmmakers and their content; founded and curated ArcLight's bi-annual Documentary Film Fest; and executive produced ArcLight Stories, a behind-the-scenes brand narrative.
