Sitting by the blue and yellow signposted Ryanair gate at Edinburgh Airport, I can't help but think goodbyes never get easier, even after four and a half years. I've learnt to stop bawling my eyes when I say goodbye to my significant other, but they still flood with tears and my heart aches so, so badly. This time, I'm comforted by the idea the next time we reunite, it will be for good. This is the end of our painfully long, long-distance relationship.
