FINISH THE SENTENCE.

FRIENDS ARE LIKE ____________.

For me, the answer is mirrors.

They don't just know us, but they see us. They show up honest and they tell us the truth.

The best part about mirrors, though, is that if you hold them at a different angle or in a certain light, they can see the things that we don't.

That's why I call mine in so often.

When words fail, friends speak.

In talking to some of my friends, without knowing it, they have confirmed my biggest hope for this book: that people see themselves in it.

Hear more about the book from some of the folks who know it best: the ones who have already read it.

Shelby, Tatyana, Rae, Madelynne, Meredith, Danni, MaRae — thank you for showing up constantly.

Take a look.

THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING.

Thank you in advance for celebrating this book with me. You’ll never quite know how much your love, support, and words mean to me.

Like I say in the book acknowledgments…

“My sweet readers: Community is the single most powerful thing we can ever hope to be a part of.

I am grateful — by chance — to be

in a circle with you.”

Cheers to you. All my love!

Yours truly, Mia
