Sometimes the quotes that we come across are down the road, so prophetic! The thought never entered my mind that there would NOT be any church, in North America, doing Vacation Bible School, in the traditional sense, during the summer! Or any church in the whole wide world! But here we are... and what a blessing it has been seeing how you have made a quick change to providing children’s Camp meeting, Sabbath School and... Vacation Bible School! All while on ‘socially distanced’ regulations!
The VBS season has taken off with an explosion of families being involved making sure their children experience VBS with their friends from church and friends from around the world.
Heroes VBSLive registration opened with immediately 1000 registering. The number kept going up rapidly every day with a final count of well over 10,000. There were families from all over North American, Central America, South America, Canada, Bermuda, South Pacific Islands, Africa, Australia, Europe and Asia.
Children and families were engaged!
We prayed daily for the children and families AND for technology! 😊
Now Church Edition and Family Edition Heroes VBS are happening all over North America!
I watched Florida Conference Heroes Church Edition and it was great fun! I’m sure there are others. Send us your pictures! Truly the spirit of the Lord is moving in ways that we cannot even imagine! Let us continue to pray for each other!
