Union Mission To Host Virtual Night Out

COVID-19 may have put a temporary hold on in-person events such as our annual Raising Hope fundraiser, but it's not enough to keep us from sharing our mission and thanking those who've stood with us through these challenges.

Join us for Union Mission's virtual 5th Annual Raising Hope Watch Party on Thursday, August 27, 2020 at https://www.facebook.com/UMIsavannah starting at 6:00pm. The short pre-recorded 45 minute program will extend appreciation to key supporters and sponsors, provide an update from Union Mission on the impact of COVID-19, share information on affordable housing from the Keynote Speaker, Michelle Norris with National Church Residences, as well as special remarks from community leaders. This year’s Raising Hope is presented by Nine Line Apparel and Oliver Maner LLP, and will be emceed by Rabbi Robert Haas of Congregation Mickve Israel.

Please plan on inviting a few friends (social distancing, of course!) for an evening of education and gratitude.

Family comes first – even when you’re homeless. Women and children are the fastest growing population of homeless in America. Union Mission provides emergency shelter to women with children through Magdalene House.  During the 90-day shelter stay, clients receive supportive services that help put them on the road to self-sufficiency.
