Why wait for the next newsletter for some goodness to hit your inbox? This week's good living idea, coming right up:
It's been a trying time for all of us, in some shape and form, no matter how thankful we might otherwise be. My go-to method to check-in with myself during these kind of phases is to journal. Sometimes I journal to go deeper into my feelings, and at other times, I journal with the exact opposite purpose - to lighten things up.
My journaling style uses a lot of prompts, as I find them to be super useful in directing my mind. In the hopes that they might help you too, here are 3 journal prompts that you can use either in a notebook, or your favourite note-keeping app, or, well, even on Instagram! Frame a response in your mind, if that's all you have the time and patience for. But really, my only hope is that they encourage you in some way to feel a little better about yourself and your life.
Q. Finish this sentence: Today I forgive...
Q. Write down 5 things that make you feel proud about yourself.
Q. Recount a recent kindness that someone showed you.
