Whelp, we made it to September!!
Fall is the only real seasonal change that I mark with very distinct rituals on Labor Day weekend: I switch out the wreath on the door, eat the first red pear of the season, and usually watch about 10hrs of college football. I also break out the folk music.
Alas, I'm only able to do some of these things this year, but I'm grateful for this change to autumn more than usual in any case. I'm looking forward to making the house a bit cozier, eating pumpkin with every meal I can, and for the weather to start matching my mood.
