Fireside With Our

Executive Director

Okay, but who are you

when things aren't going your way?

Last month I asked my team:  “Who are you when things aren’t going your way?”

For me; I get real short.

I get Indecisive.

I get unclear and reclusive.

Then I get still.

And then I start to get creative.

Consider this: No small part of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg's legacy are the scores of dissents she wrote after being told “no” by the majority.

We can't afford to underestimate our power just because we’ve been told “no,” again.

'Who do you want to be, when things aren't going your way?'

We need more of that, right now.

 - In solidarity

 Noel
