An invitation to ground & focus

01

Wake your mind up by hanging some Eucalyptus in your shower and/or putting 4-5 drops of the essential oil on the floor of your shower. Breathe in the invigorating aroma & get those brain juices flowing! You could also try Peppermint, Orange, & Rosemary e.o. Find what works for you!

Aromatherapy, fire, & intentions

02

Now that we're awake, lets get rooted in our intentions for the day! I love using grounding essential oils like Vetiver, Cedarwood, & Pine in my skin care products or homemade body oils. (Hot tip: I go for roots & trees when I'm looking to ground!) The element of creativity, fire, can be used by lighting a candle while working to honor what it is you are bringing into the world. A lil Juniper incense never hurt no body either!

To tea..

04

Have you ever tried Rosemary tea tho?! Just steep a few sprigs from the garden for a potent cup of focus. Plant some Holy Basil next to your Rosemary so you can add it to your tea too! If you're going the Dandelion Root &/or Reishi route, simmer a spoonful per cup on low for 15 minutes before straining. Note that both are quite bitter & you may want to add milk & honey!

..Or to Tincture!

05

Tinctures are another great way to deliver herbs to our bodies. They are liquid, concentrated extracts of herbs! You can add tinctures to your water or take them directly. The liquid used to extract is usually alcohol, honey, glycerin, or vinegar. If you're interested in working with Dandelion Root, try the tincture blend Process from Jam Haw. Or create your own tincture from the custom section that has Holy Basil as an option!
