Last week, I spoke at the Parliament of the Republic of Lithuania to mark the 28th anniversary of the Lithuanian Constitution. The subject of my lecture was “Crisis, Consensus, and Confrontation in Constitutional Design.” I also delivered a lecture at the Federal Supreme Court of Brazil on “Defending Democracy in Brazil and the World.”
This week, I will give a lecture at the University of Philippines on “The Evil Past: Memory and Erasure in Constitutional Amendment.” I will also speak on a panel at Florida International University on “The Jurisprudence and Legacy of Justice Ginsburg.” More details appear below.
