This Scoop is going to be short and sweet. I just want to alert you of some upcoming dates that are upon us in the next few weeks. We have a few inservice days coming up, Nov. 3 & Nov. 11, in addition we are preparing for the return of our K-2 students on November 16. Dr. Bishop will be sending out an announcement on Sunday, November 1 about the November 16 return. As you may remember, she promised to give an update every two weeks.
I want to invite you to our upcoming parent meeting this Wednesday; supporting the mental health of our children. I hope you can join and if not, I have included a few articles below. We will continue to support the needs of the whole child/whole adult as we move through COVID-19. Part of that care of the whole person is making sure we have some fun. The Community Assembly has prepared a family game night on Wednesday, November 5. More information is in the flyer below. I want to take a moment to thank our Assembly board for all their efforts during this unique year.
Finally, please have a safe Halloween; however, you choose to celebrate it this year. We miss all of you but we know community gatherings await us in our future! We will be stronger, wiser, and possibly more grateful when we can enjoy more normal times.
