“Thankfulness is the beginning of gratitude. Gratitude is the completion of thankfulness. Thankfulness may consist merely of words. Gratitude is shown in acts.” ~ Henri Frederic Amiel

Dear friends,

It's almost Thanksgiving - a holiday where we focus on thankfulness.  We want to take this opportunity to say thank you and express how grateful we are for all of you.

No doubt 2020 has been a rollercoaster of a year for all of us. As we continue the mandatory quarantine in the state of Michigan, we'd love to connect with you for some “virtual hangouts”. Even though we all are staying home and staying safe, we are passionate about the importance of connection, mindfulness and self-care. With that in mind we've put together some ways we can stay connected.

Current plans include the following meetups:

A free zoom session for teens to chat and practice mindfulness together.

A free zoom session for ages 6-12 to connect with some mindful breathing and games.

A free zoom yoga class for Busy Bees (ages 3-6) on Saturday, December 12th.

We will continue with our twice weekly “Mindful Movement” zoom classes every Monday & Thursday morning - $25 for the entire family to enjoy 8 classes for the month.

And on December 10th we invite your entire family - mom, dad, kids, grandparents… to join us for a Restorative yoga class on zoom. Restorative yoga is a beautiful practice for peace and stillness - something we don’t always get enough of in our daily lives. This class is all about quiet and rest so it may not be suitable for very young children.

Follow us on social media for more “practice at home” tips. Even 5-10 minutes of yoga and mindfulness can transform your daily routine.

Please feel free to contact us any time if you have specific requests or questions. We are here and we are thinking of all of you!

Wishing you a safe, healthy and Happy Thanksgiving!

Warmly,

 Miss Kay & Miss Cathy

Mindful Movement for the School Day

School, work, and life in general looks a little (or a lot) different for all of us this year. Taking some time to move our bodies, and release some of the tension in the body and the brain is more important now than ever.

Yoga and mindfulness have been shown to improve both physical and mental health in adults and children. Benefits include improved balance, strength, flexibility along with better focus and reduced anxiety and stress. Most of all it just feels good to take a break, quiet your mind and move your body!

Join us twice a week for 20 minutes of energizing and mindful movement – a little yoga, mindful breathing, stretching, and quiet time. Return to your day more balanced, calm, focused and rejuvenated.

“Our mission is to inspire others to feel the magic that yoga + mindfulness offer. To realize their own inner potential to live life to the fullest. To Just Bee Brave, Kind, Loving, Grateful, and Happy. To have the confidence to Just Bee Themselves. To take time each day to breathe and Just Bee.”
