A few of my favorite things!

Hey First name / friend!

There are exactly 37 days left in 2020 and as Quincy Jones said years ago, we need to ‘wear these days out’. It's been an incredibly difficult year and we deserve to enjoy these last 37 days. I recognize that is not easy in this environment! In fact I spent the weekend text-whining my friends about the root canal I just had. But the whining is OVER!  It's time to be thankful, grateful, and ENJOY the days we have.

Below is a list of some favorite things including my first-ever, never before released, Dance It Out playlist. When things get tough, like Meredith and Cristina on Grey's Anatomy, I like to Dance It Out. If you haven't tried it, you must.

  1. Start Your Day with the 5-minute Story. The You Bible App has a Story every morning on the app homepage that has a scripture, 1-minute message, reading and prayer….in less than 5 minutes. Great way to start the day on the right foot.
  2. Apple Cider Vinegar the Delicious Way. A friend told me about these Goli Apple Cider Vinegar GUMMIES and they're de-li-cious. Get the health benefits of ACV in a yummy form. #Winning!
  3. You Deserve to Love Your Job. My new book will be out for pre-order soon! You Deserve to Love Your Job: How to Find Your Purpose & Enjoy Your Life. I can't wait for you to read it!!  My early readers did an amazing job providing ideas to make it even better. As a jump start, the first chapter can be found HERE.
  4. Look Up. The sky is a beautiful place to get lost in thought and gratitude.  If you haven't, look up every day this week. Take note of how much it changes in color, form, and feeling each day. Skygazing is linked to reduced stress because it puts our emotions in perspective. Check out my Instagram for a few of my recent pics.
  5. Curly Girl Alert. I recently found a detangling brush/comb contraption that makes combing natural curly hair, especially when wet, MUCH easier.  Check it out here.
  6. Can't Sleep at night?  When insomnia keeps me up, I listen to these meditations to quiet my mind. Woosah….
  7. It's time. If you haven't already, it's time to access the Dance It Out playlist and let's get it. It's APG tried, tested, and approved. ✌🏾

xo, Arlene
