Welcome to the Full Moon in Gemini!

Hello dear First name / one,

And welcome to eclipse season. I want to preface by saying that I do not identify as an astrologer. I never intended for the Moonsletter to be an astrological forecast. What I do include is based on my own understanding of astrology, my sensitivity to collective energy, and that which my intuitive guidance calls on me to share. The Moonsletter is a transmission, from me in my world to you in yours. We can only connect on the level of our shared reality but hopefully some of this insight resonates with you.

Full moons and new moons are beautiful times for self and collective reflection. They remind us that nature is cyclical, and that we are natural matter. We ebb and flow like the tides of the ocean, we peak and soar like wind, we settle and decompose like earth, we rage and burn like fire. This next month will see its fair share of astrological uncertainty, the death knell for the old ways resonating in each of us and across the collective consciousness. Many are fearful and fear breeds anger toward the new, the “other.”

As we close out 2020, let us remember that this year each and every one of us has contended with power dynamics that were destabilizing or caused us to feel unsafe. When we balance assertiveness with compassion, we create a foundation for cooperation and resolution. As we fully step into the “Age of Aquarius” (I can’t say that without singing this classic), we are asked to find creative and completely new solutions to our systemic issues. We must be willing to stretch beyond comfort, to be wrong, to examine our inner truths, and to hold ourselves as well as others accountable. And this process begins on a micro level, with our own self-awareness and personal responsibility.

Peaking in the wee hours of the morning tomorrow, Monday November 30, the full moon in Gemini highlights the communication of our needs, what we believe to be true, and it has us facing some uncertainties with regards to relationships and in terms of our values. This moon also coincides with a lunar eclipse. We will also have a solar eclipse on December 14, and another lunar eclipse on December 30. Some folks find lunar eclipses to be ominous, but I share the perspective of astrologer Chani Nicholas and others that they are times of increased potential. This can be a time of heightened tension and there's the temptation of over-indulgence as a way of soothing feelings of insecurity. Try not to resist the necessary changes that we are being presented with.

Remember the full moon at the end of October? When its aspect to Uranus was asking us to remember that change is the only constant

This current full moon has a complicated aspect with Venus who is, herself, now opposing Uranus. This puts our emotional needs (Moon) in a difficult aspect to our values and love (Venus), it may feel like you can fulfill one but not the other, and certainly not both at the same time. This creates tension and uncertainty, but we are asked to make the necessary adjustments in the moment (Uranus). Trying to escape this tension or discomfort through material comfort or indulgence will only dig your hole deeper. As conditions change, so must we.

Communication will be imperative at this time, as well as allowing others to communicate with us. Give yourself and others some grace to stumble along, while we all find the right words; while we seek balance between thinking and feeling.

I want to make a quick note: at this time we are being asked to step into our personal power in ways like never before. Perhaps you have felt yourself cross a threshold once before, perhaps it was this year. I view these moments as cosmic initiations and will be diving deeper into this concept for the month of December.

Also, if you didn't catch my last two IG LIVEs about my experiences with Human Design, specifically my Splenic Authority and having a 6th line Profile, you can check them out under the IGTV tab on my profile. I will be doing more videos to talk about initiations, share personal stories, and to answer common questions about Human Design and embodiment practice. See you there!
