As my team and I help clients with developing their purpose brand identity we explore at length the topic of value and its important derivatives. We ask: what do you value? What are your business/brand values? Why is your product/service valuable? And finally, what is your business/brand value proposition (i.e. what differentiates you from the competition)?
As Americans enter the next four years with the goal of crossing the “great political divide” and bringing the country together, the conversation about what we value as a people, a country, and world will be critical to our healing. Exploring what we have in common and share fosters a sense of mutual respect. Dialogue from a place of respect is critical.
Sustainable innovation is another critical piece that will bring us together. Sustainable innovations are expressions of shared values that are and will continue to transform business into a force for good.
I hope this week's Get Real mash-up of new innovations, business tips, and brands leading change inspires our coming together and takes us beyond “jobs vs. the environment” as we tackle the most pressing issues of our time: the pandemic, economic prosperity for all, and climate change.
Enjoy,
