I've been fortunate enough to go to several dances and ceremonies
at different pueblos. Much of the time is spent waiting, expectantly,
for the dancers to emerge from various buildings to begin the dance.
The waiting, the expectation are a big part of the day for me.
I stand there looking at all the faces of the watchers, the structures,
the clouds passing overhead, the children running about.
The shadows cast all around me by the sun traveling overhead.

So it is with the Season.
There are the big days and moments,
but there is joy and something to be discovered everywhere.
