THRIFTING GOOD HOLIDAY GIFTS

 

Thrifting gifts is an amazing way to do your holiday shopping. Not only is it eco-friendly, but you find more interesting pieces and don't have to splurge. I love to go straight to the housewares section. If you have friends and family who love home decor, be on the lookout for vases, candle holders, bowls, art frames, and nice glassware. You can usually find these for a few dollars each. For your fashion-loving friends, I like checking out the accessories section and looking for statement purses and belts. You can truly find gems when you thrift!

BLACK AMBITION: PHARRELL WILLIAMS' NONPROFIT FOR ENTREPRENEURS

 

Pharrell Williams has launched a nonprofit specifically for Black and Latinx entrepreneurs, because while Black Ambition is limitless, access is not. There is a stark division in the American experience, and Pharrell is looking to bridge that gap. The nonprofit has created two prize competitions for applicants in the design, healthcare, tech, and consumer products and services fields. Entrepreneurs can win up to $1M. (Yes, you read that right). With Black Ambition's help, this kind of inclusive entrepreneurship will become the new normal.
