Winning, Whining, or Wining

Since I missed this past weekend, I'll say, without going into detail here, that this weekend was definitely a whining couple of days that brought about more wining than I intended. Cue the headache.

What I'm Working On (WIWO)

I'm almost halfway through the first draft of book 1 in a cozy mystery series set in a cheese and honey shop. I don't have a name for the book or series yet, but here is a quick blurb:
Gertie’s psychic powers are on the fritz. But when her boss suddenly dies, Gertie knows she was murdered. Can she get her powers working and solve the murder before it’s too late? Or will she be the next to die?

The first weekend of December I participated in a virtual sparkling wine tasting. It was fantastic!

I signed up for the tasting through awineidea.ie. They shipped two bottles of sparkling wine and a half bottle of champagne right to my door. The tasting took place via a zoom session. 

If you enjoy wine, I highly recommend looking for a virtual tasting in your country - this one was only available in Ireland. Last month I participated in a mead tasting and it was just as fun and informative.
