The Transcendental Painting Group, established in New Mexico in 1938, sought to stimulate in others, through deep and spontaneous emotional experiences of form and color, a more intense participation
in the life of the spirit.
This is a Season of transcendence. We rise above the habits we have practiced all year, reach a little higher for our goals at year's end, and extend our hands and hearts a little further to others.
We step out of ourselves to think of our fellows and give more freely.
