Let me start out by saying THANK YOU to those who have prayed for Rooted Moms and contributed financially to our cause. YOU have made a difference.
We have seen tremendous, spiritual and relational growth among the amazing women in our groups and from those who are following along with the reading plan— all during one of the toughest years yet.
Being rooted in Christ, growing in God’s word, and surrounding ourselves with a life-giving community seems simple, but for busy moms it’s often not. That is exactly why we are here to help women thrive and abide in Jesus through every chapter of their lives.
This past year has not been easy on anyone, but with God working in us and through us here are a few of the MANY accomplishments we get to celebrate with you from 2020:
- We launched our annual reading plan and online groups in September.
- Our writing team penned 52 incredible devotionals that are encouraging and equipping hundreds of women each and every week.
- Our email list has grown to over 220 subscribers who receive the weekly reading plan emails. (Click here to sign up to receive those!) Among those reading along, we are seeing increased engagement across social media.
- We were featured in 3 local magazines, including Around Acworth, Around Woodstock and the Townlaker.
- We provided countless resources via website and email to help moms become more deeply rooted in Christ, develop consistent quiet time, and be encouraged with the truth.
- We trained 12 women to lead life-giving small groups within their communities, via our 4-week Leadership Training.
- We currently have 6 online groups, led by 6 leaders and 5 co-leaders, totaling approximately 41 participants who represent 6 US states (and even Belize!)
- We recently welcomed our 5th team member to our Operations Team.
How awesome is our God?! None of these things would have been possible without Him, AND the help we received from you!

Moving into the New Year, we would love for you to not only continue praying for us, but also consider becoming a monthly partner through planned recurring giving. We have BIG plans for the coming year and we can’t accomplish them without you.
Our current status moving into 2021:
- We are over 34% pre-funded for our entire 2021 budget.
- Our operational team is currently 100% volunteer-run (though we hope to move toward paid positions as we are able to do so, financially).
- Our projected monthly budget totals out to approximately $1,280, for operating expenses and projected growth.
