2021 The Blank Slate

Did everyone wait up until Midnight and scream Jumanji to get us out of 2020?

I'm kidding of course (I did it just in case though) but 2021 is here and it's time to look forward. That's the thing about New Years isn't it? It's a time where we look forward to a blank slate, an endless possibility of things that we could make happen, a blank page on which we are able to craft our own story and plan our own futures and have hope for what we believe in. Even the greatest pessimists inside of us (hate that chick) looks forward to it, its like stepping out of a shower after being thrown in the mud and now you're all clean and ready to tackle whatever life has to throw on you. It's the ultimate recharge.

What is 2021 for me?

The short answer is words! Lots of words! Lots of different words and worlds that will come together in a crashing crescendo of awesome books that I hope to release to you this year starting in January and ending in December. 2020 did not give me enough time for that but this year there are series to wrap up and new stories to tell. I've already crafted the basic plots and today I am sitting down to start the opening scenes of what I plan to be my best books so far.

Releasing on the 15th January, have you pre-ordered your copy of The Lady Butcher?

For those who don't want to wait, the paperback is already live.

In it, for one more kill.

Just when you thought the killing was over, a new butcher arrives in town.

A young boy in an abandoned warehouse. A young man with Down Syndrome behind the arcade. A teenage boy in the woods. A homosexual girl in a motel. All these murders are familiar...but are they?

While Derick is trying to navigate his new love life with Kimberly, the copycat Butcher killer drives him to drink, especially when the killings seem tied to the sweet family that lives next door to him, and the killings just don't stop. He feels hopeless as The Butcher eludes him and the relationship with the only family he has becomes strained.

Thank God he has Kimberly beside him to see him through this mess.

What Can You Expect

Some of the things that you can expect this year include the sequel to The Witches of Harbour - Hex. I know a lot of people are waiting to see what happened after they read the prologue.

I had to put off the release of Merry Meow due to personal reasons but I've decided to release that during the year - possibly July as a Christmas in July feature - because I want to release Jingle Fur for Christmas. What a twist that one has.

The Priestess is going to be a hectic book even by my standards and I can't wait to work on it!

I'm also doing the sequel to Watcher, which will be titled The Watched. There's such a twist planned in that one as well.

Also coming is Stones and a rewrite of Bullseye because I want the two to be linked better. I've learned so much since writing Bullseye I want to improve what I wrote and will be releasing the two together.

Want to Win

I'm giving away two signed paperbacks (I'm not telling which ones though) and some swag. This is open internationally. All you have to do is respond to this email with one of your New Years Resolutions for this year. I'll pick a random winner and announce them in my February Newsletter. The winners name will also appear as a minor character (you may possibly die LOL) in Hex.

Good Luck
