As I mentioned in the Winning, Whining, or Wining section, I'm in the USA - Texas, to be exact. When most non-Texans think of the Lone Star State, they imagine one big desert filled willed with cactus and tumbleweeds, its expanse broken only by the Ewing ranch and the Dallas skyline. Rarely do they expect to hear about the rolling hills and enormous pine trees of the eastern part of the state.
The other thing that people don't associate with Texas is snow. I was lucky to be here for a storm that dumped several inches on my home town earlier this week. As usual, the weather was gorgeous the next day, and I enjoyed a snowy walk through the pines.
Is there anything more beautiful than white snow and blue sky?
