I pray you are settling into the new year.  I just wanted to stop by and bring some positive energy to your week.

 I know you are familiar with the PPP Loan, well you should be by now.  This is a loan given by the SBA and through other lenders to help small businesses with payroll protection and recovery.  I was thinking about it the other day as a business owner and I had to be honest and say, what if you don't get that loan? What's the plan after the that?  That is where I came up with The PPE Plan for happiness: 5 ways to be more Happy & Healthy.

 I felt the need to share these tips with  you to encourage you along your journey.  I can't say that these steps will ultimately bring you the happiness in which you seek, but I guarantee you will be stimulated to count it all joy, and crack a smile here and there.  You may find yourself right up the street from some of the happiest times you will ever experience.  I pray you are encouraged to Transform Regenerate & Actively Progress and stay the course to happiness with these 5 tips.

1. Go The Extra Mile

You are valuable because of the knowledge you have acquired.  Share your gifts and always go the extra mile for your clients and those that deserve your energy.  Give and you shall receive. Though that is not always true,  sometimes you gotta take one for the team and reap the benefits later.  Don't look for the return, just share that gem or do a lil more. In the end you will attract happier, more stable clientele/friends into your life, that exhibit the qualities that you stand by.  

 

 

2. Find Time For Healing

I am guilty of not taking the important time to heal my soul.  I'm here to tell you that you need to rest and find time to heal.  A quick get away, is medicine to the the soul.  Reconnecting with your surroundings and letting down your guard is essential for regeneration.  Balancing your energy in a new surrounding can revitalize you and get you ready for a great year.

3. Identify your Triggers and Affirm your Strength

I can say one thing, getting older does make this a lot easier.   It used to be easy to boil over in anger and lash out on those around me, but there is peace in a new reaction.  There is so much peace is saying no, or not engaging in the things that bring anger to your spirit.  My affirmation, has been “ you can't save the world , just those that want to be saved” that helps my nurturing spirit with the "no", and any negativity that may come my way.  If your trigger is tied to an individual, distancing yourself can be a great tool for affirming your strength and progression.

4. Find Joy in your Past Accomplishments 

As a creator, I find myself always moving on to the next thing.  What about those things that made you who you are? The little things that help direct you on your path to greatness.  We forget about that award, or that plaque that brought us so much joy in the moment, but is now but a memory.  Take some time and pull out those old trophies, and do a victory dance.  You were and still are the best at what you do, and you are getting better every day. "Sometimes you gotta dig in crates, to see ya Great"

5. Find Healing in Healthy Consumption

"You are what you eat" is a saying I have heard since a kid, but it never really held much weight for me.  If  I wanted junk food, I would just go and get it.  I realized that my energy levels were lower,  and I was sick more often.  After making a sound decision to change my ways , I was disciplined enough to stay on the path for a number of years.  

 

As a trainer your daily routine is variable, depending on the client,  so nutrition became less important the busier I got.  I started to see my body go back in the wrong direction.  It was time to hit reset and make new changes in my diet.  I recently began a new journey to find my new eating regiment.  Juicing has been a great addition to my daily life,  I have also decided to go Semi- meatless and only enjoy chicken, or turkey on occasion. This has tremendously changed my waistline, my skin, and levels of energy.  Food can be a wonderful tool for your healing, when you find joy in preparation as well. 

I hope this is something that is vital to your growth and existence.  We all grow through experience, and if life has taught me anything , it would be that your transformation story and process, can bring inspiration to others.  Thank you again for subscribing to this newsletter.  May this PPE Plan be one that you put into action!
