What anxieties, if any, do you hold about your life/career? And how do you deal with them?

I’m anxious about the meaning in life [and] how I can add to my community and make a positive change, even if it's a little. I’m anxious [that] my job won't give me the time to fulfil my dreams. I deal with that by taking advantage of free time I have in my job. When I’m done with the company’s projects and yet can’t leave my office, I start working on community projects that I’m interested in.

What do you consider your biggest failure? And how did you persevere and grow from the experience?

I don’t consider anything in my life as a failure, because I’m getting back an experience in every stage of life. So it's a gain not a loss. The experience that I get out of any circumstances gives me the passion to persevere to an upper level of life experience.

 

Do you have any rituals that help with your work or mental health?

I like to have decaf coffee, sit in a comfortable and quiet place, write down my to-do list and make a plan for my day to calm down my mind from overthinking.

If you could distil it down to three key messages, what do you hope people learn/take away from what you do?

1. Trust your journey in life and never compare yourself to anyone. Everyone is different and special.

 

2. Prioritise your family and your health (e.g. healthy food, going early to bed).

 

3. Make some time in your daily life for your social and environmental responsibilities. This is a blessing and a main factor for satisfaction and happiness.
