MAKE SOME NOISE!
Four years ago, Dr. Robert Peterson took the trip from Dekalb, Illinois to West Palm Beach, Florida for the founding of the Sales Enablement Society.  He had realized that there were no academic articles on Sales Enablement in the existing academic journals.  Shortly thereafter, Dr. Rob took a sabbatical from Northern Illinois University and immersed himself in studying the field over 8 months conducting 40+ in depth interviews and traversing the country to learn about the field.

At the end of 2020, Dr. Robert Peterson and his co-authors  published three academic articles  in the Journal of Selling, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science and Industrial Marketing Management.  Dr. Rob has presented at each Sales Enablement Conference and has been serving on the SES advisory board for several years.  Since Rob will not toot his own horn, as a Society, we would like to recognize the long journey of several years that he has worked to get sales enablement part of the academic conversation.  The year 2020 will be the year that academic researchers and educators will be enriched by his published work. Our thanks and congratulations to Dr. Robert Peterson!
