GOD IS A WOMAN

In honor of Women's History Month, I wanted to share our God is a Woman art print. It's inspired by the original Michelangelo "Creation of Adam" painting, but reimagined for the Goddesses around us every day. I use a range of media to create my artwork. I drew this particular piece digitally on my iPad at the height of the BLM movement last year. Honestly, creating it provided me a sense of peace. It also afforded us the opportunity to donate over $1000 dollars to Black Lives Matter. I'M HERE, I'M QUEER, I HOST MY OWN PODCAST

Twenty years ago, I was a spunky little Asian kid who had no idea that they were queer. My obsession with nostalgia and passion for more intersectional representation inspired me to make a new kind of podcast. In Re:trospeQt is a coming of age podcast featuring queer and trans people of color (QTPOC). Each episode discusses defining moments, debates childhood favorites, and explores the question, “if you could write a letter to your younger self, what would you say?” In Re:trospeQt is excited to share these stories with the next generation.

I have finally discovered what I am passionate about: watching clickbait videos on SnapChat. I recently found myself entrenched in the borderline problematic channel, DramaAlert. After determining that TikTok ladies' man Bryce Hall really did cheat on It Girl Addison Rae, I was served an ad for the New York Times. I like to imagine a media planner strategically placed this ad directly after DramaAlert to prey upon my insecurity of Snapchat being my primary source of news to convince me to buy a "real news" subscription, but guess what New York Times? This gal doesn't feel guilty at all.
