Chief Operating Officer (COO)

About Miss Rizos Salon, Inc.

Miss Rizos was born in 2011 as a blog where its creator, Carolina Contreras, also known as “Miss Rizos”, shared information and resources in Spanish about caring for afro-curly hair. In 2014 Miss Rizos opened her first salon in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, an idea that arose from both a need for a space dedicated specifically to curly hair care without the application of chemicals or heat and the desire to celebrate her identity. In 2019 Miss Rizos expanded their operations to the US and opened the second location in New York City.

As a team member at Miss Rizos, you can expect to make a difference through your work, to significantly advance your career trajectory and through beauty, education and empowerment continue changing the world one curl at a time.
