Popping in to say hello again!
We've been busy bees the last several weeks. We tidied up the studio, dove deep into some porcelain work, and started a new project in the gallery space.
New porcelain mugs have been having their moment in the sun on the wheel and on our work tables lately. It's been quite a long time since we've made porcelain mugs and it's nice to see the studio filling up with them again. They're in various stages of production and will hopefully be taking their long hot journey through the kilns in the next few(ish) weeks.
We've also been creating a new short gallery display wall to house framed works. While we desperately miss being open to the public on a daily basis, being closed does come with a few perks. Mainly, we can disassemble the displays to do a messy project and not have much concern about the gallery being in a total state of disarray and have to worry about a hard deadline for setting things back up. All that being said, we'll be excited to open back up when the time is right.
This project has been on our wish list/to-do list for years. It's nice to see it finally coming together.
