Following my passion for working in the sports industry has been a long, challenging and always amazing road. It has led to more personal and professional fulfillment than I could have imagined when I started 26 years ago. I was fortunate enough to have incredible mentors along the way; and understand & appreciate the value of a support system to lean on as I navigated through my career. It has always been on my heart to help others who come behind me; those just starting out in the industry, or those who are still trying to get their foot in the door.
Growing up in a close-knit, sports-oriented family, my company began with a strong foundation, along with clear values and goals. LaChica Sports & Entertainment is a woman-owned, women-led organization, proud to celebrate the collective strength of female leadership. That being said, we are even more excited to launch LaChica Lately during Women’s History Month.
Keeping with that theme, this edition will include several events focused on female-leadership and collaboration. LaChica Sports has an unwavering commitment to trying to help make the road a little less bumpy for those just getting started. Our goal is to always provide a useful resource for students and young professionals in the industry, while creating a community of shared knowledge and support.
