National estimates project that the child food insecurity rate in RI will increase to 27-29% (currently at 25.2%). This means that nearly 1 in every 3 children will not have suitable meals every day. One of the most important pieces for us and our participating restaurants is to prepare well-balanced meals. The chefs are focused on delivering not only hot & delicious meals, but ones that provide the right mix of important food groups.
