— APRIL LOVE —

1973 Asmara, Eritrea

Hello First name / friend,

I wanted to share a beautiful custom project with you! I was recently commissioned to design a ring to commemorate 48 years (and counting) of love between this happy couple above. Drawing upon the bride's Italian heritage (Pescocostanzo, a village in the Abruzzo region known for its artisan goldsmiths), I was honored to create this ring. The eight-pointed "presentosa" star encircles an exquisite hand-cut diamond, flanked by three emeralds on either side to symbolize their three daughters. It was such a special project!

For April, we are focusing on the diamond birthstone.

I have been acquiring many beautiful pieces that highlight this popular gemstone! Whether it's a classic pair of diamond stud earrings, a filigree diamond brooch, or a sparkly diamond cluster ring, I have many items to choose from and will be adding even more to the online shop in the coming weeks.

All month long, feel free to schedule a 15min appointment to have your diamond jewelry cleaned and checked to ensure everything is secure. I will be happy to give your items a good once-over under the microscope and then a quick clean and steam so that everything is shiny and bright. Please remind me to provide you with some complimentary jewelry cleaner as well--I have lots!

West Seattle Business Love

Get your     Garden Ready for Spring!

Since Spring is finally here, I wanted to introduce you to a well-known and established West Seattle business. A supplier of beautiful and unusual blooms and plants, West Seattle Nursery is a great place to find things for your garden. Their collection of plants, pots, and garden tools is extensive, and the staff is knowledgeable and helpful. We are so lucky to have this business in West Seattle and it's just one block north from my shop!

Here are some photos of one of our West Seattle Nursery seed purchases last Spring. We've never grown Romanesco, and while it took a LONG time to get to this point, we are SO happy we planted it--who would have known it took almost a year to produce?!? We are pickling, sauteing, and roasting them now! So delicious! What are you growing in your garden this year?
